Enhancing ThreatDown Admin App notifications: Multi-method delivery now available
The ThreatDown Admin app has a new notification update available.
We are excited to announce a significant improvement to the ThreatDown Admin App notification system. Admins will now be able to create notifications that are delivered through multiple methods simultaneously.
Previously, creating notifications in the ThreatDown Admin app was a cumbersome process. Admins could only choose one delivery method at a time, be it email, Slack, or Teams. This meant that to send notifications across multiple platforms, admins had to create the same notification multiple times.
With this update, admins have the ability to receive push notifications about critical incidents even when they are away from their desks. Let’s dive into the details.
Key Features
- Multiple delivery methods: Admins can now select multiple delivery methods (email, Slack, Teams) when creating a notification.
- New delivery method: Introduction of the “ThreatDown Admin app” as a new delivery method.
- Category-wide notifications: Notifications can be created for various categories, including Threat Activity, User Activity, Endpoints, Managed Services, and Cloud Storage Services.
- Dismiss notifications: Admins can dismiss notifications within the ThreatDown Admin app.
- Duplication of notifications: Existing email notifications will be duplicated for the ThreatDown Admin app delivery method, with the same enabled/disabled status as the original notifications.
- Control from app: Admins can enable or disable notifications directly from the ThreatDown Admin app.
- Sync with Nebula console: Changes made to notifications in the Nebula console will be reflected in the ThreatDown Admin app, ensuring seamless management across platforms.
Enhancing administrative efficiency on-the-go
By enabling multiple delivery methods and providing comprehensive control over notification settings, the new ThreatDown Admin App notifications update both saves time and enhances the ability of admins to respond swiftly to critical incidents.
